Barrel Room · Arandas, Jalisco
What can tequila become?
That’s the question we keep asking. Rum. Wine. Cider. Cognac. And whatever we decide to explore next.
Explore the barrelsThe philosophy of the barrel
The barrel isn’t just a container.
A barrel previously held something else. That history can influence what happens next. Yéyo explores those interactions intentionally.
The curiosity that started Yéyo with founder Jon Bullinger still drives it. Every experiment is made at NOM 1414 in Arandas, Jalisco, with Master Distiller and part owner Sergio Cruz and the team—the same collaboration Jon and Sergio have shared since around 2010. Read the founder story.
So we experiment.

Made by people
Curiosity starts here.
We find barrels that interest us, fill them with Yéyo, and see where they take us. Some become releases. Some don’t. That’s part of the process.
Barrel craft
Fire. Wood. Time.
A barrel carries the history of what came before it. Its wood, previous fill, and preparation can help shape what happens next.

Something’s resting.
Not every barrel is ready to tell its story. The Barrel Room keeps moving, testing, and waiting.
