The collection
Five cask histories.
The wine or whiskey leaves the barrel. The barrel’s story doesn’t end.
Every Heritage cask had a life before Yéyo. These are those histories — and the second life each barrel begins in Arandas.

Tokaji Aszú
Tokaj, Hungary → Arandas, Jalisco
Tradition
Centuries in the making
Tokaji Aszú is one of Europe’s historic sweet-wine traditions, with written references to Aszú surviving from the 16th century.
Its character begins with Botrytis cinerea — noble rot — which shrivels the grapes and concentrates their sugars, acidity and depth. Tokaj’s rivers, autumn humidity and volcanic landscape create the conditions it needs.
The region also carries a long barrel tradition, from Zemplén oak to the traditional Gönci cask.

Moscatel
Spain → Arandas, Jalisco
Tradition
Sun, sea & oak
Moscatel belongs to the historic sweet-wine traditions of southern Spain, a region shaped by sunlight, sea air and generations of wine and cask culture.
In the tradition of asoleo, harvested grapes can be laid out beneath the sun to lose water, concentrating their sugars and aromas before the wine ever reaches oak.

Port Ruby
Douro, Portugal → Arandas, Jalisco
Tradition
From the Douro Valley
Port’s history stretches back centuries along Portugal’s Douro Valley, which in 1756 became one of the world’s earliest formally demarcated wine regions.
Ruby Port is the style associated with preserving richness, fruit and intensity. When the wine leaves, the emptied cask begins another life — this time in Arandas.

Sauternes
Bordeaux, France → Arandas, Jalisco
Tradition
Patience before the barrel
Sauternes is one of Bordeaux’s historic sweet-wine traditions, recognised in the 1855 Bordeaux classification.
Its transformation begins in the vineyard, where noble rot — Botrytis cinerea — concentrates the grapes slowly. It is a wine of patience and place, long before any barrel reaches Yéyo.
